KARACHI: The Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF) has announced a 12-member national team for the Asian Youth Netball Championship, president Sameen Malik stated.
The tournament runs from June 27 to July 4 at the Jeonju Hwasan Gymnasium in South Korea.
Mudassar Razak will serve as manager, with Amanda Arleen as head coach. Haroona Bario Zaman is assistant manager/coach and Irfan Sadia Hussain is primary care.
Pakistan is placed in Group ‘B’ alongside Chinese Taipei, Japan, hosts South Korea, Maldives and Saudi Arabia.
Their group stage schedule begins against Saudi Arabia on June 27, followed by Chinese Taipei (June 28), South Korea (June 29), Japan (June 30) and Maldives (July 1). Eleven teams are competing, divided into two groups.
Squad: Parisa Abbas, Amani Fuad Garib, Alina Maya Garib, Leya Raza Shah, Alisha Amer Naveed, Israh Umer Malik, Haleema Sakina Safdar, Sarina Naseem Hussain, Sumaya Safiya Ahmed, Sumayya Kauthar Safdar, Jasmine Elizabeth Farooq and Farrah Sherry Ross Rashid.
