US President Joe Biden insists he’s not going anywhere and is adamant he will beat Donald Trump in the presidential election.

President Joe Biden forcefully ignored criticism from within his party on Friday, announcing his intention to remain in the race amid calls for him to withdraw. Speaking to an enthusiastic crowd in Detroit, Biden reiterated his commitment to seeking reelection, highlighting the threat of a second term for Donald Trump and promising to “put the spotlight on Donald Trump” and a possible return to the White House. As the crowd chanted “Don’t quit!” and “We’re rooting for you!”, Biden reiterated his commitment, vowing to continue his campaign and highlighting his policy agenda for the first 100 days of his second term. Biden criticized the far-right policy agenda drawn up by conservative think tanks that Trump has sought to distance himself from. In the same venue where he positioned himself four years ago as a bridge to the next generation of Democratic leadership, Biden made it clear that he has no intention of stepping down, despite the mounting pressure of the past two weeks. “It’s not over yet,” he declared, signaling his determination to continue fighting for the presidency.
