PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi held a two-hour meeting with Pakistani players in Dublin. Later this year he is scheduled for the T20 World Cup and this series between Ireland and England is very important. This will be a valuable opportunity for the Pakistan team to experiment, hone their tactics and gain momentum under the guidance of new approaches.

The PCB chief landed in Dublin.

pakistan cricket Board (Printed board) chairman Mohsin Naqvi On Sunday, he made a quick trip to Dublin to meet with the national team currently playing in Ireland. The two-hour meeting focused on the team’s strategy and preparations for the tour.

The chairman reportedly stressed the importance of adopting a “modern style of T20 cricket” during the discussion. This probably refers to an aggressive batting approach that effectively utilizes power play overs and deploys variations of the bowling attack. Naqvi also asked the national cricket team to improve their fielding and “fight till the last ball”.

“You can develop your strategy while sitting in your living room, but the real test is on the field and you have to see the performance,” he was quoted as saying by Geo TV.

“The players are the hope of Pakistan and they must live up to the expectations of the country. Teamwork is a prerequisite for victory. If the 11 players work together as a team, we will definitely succeed,” Naqvi said. added.

“Winning is possible only by playing a modern and new style of T20 cricket. There will be fierce competition on the ground and players should fight till the last ball,” Naqvi said.

Naqvi reportedly concluded by saying that the unity of all 11 players is essential for success.

Meanwhile, after losing the first T20I, Pakistan captain Babar Azam expressed disappointment and raised several points of concern, including fielding standards. “I don’t think we started well because the pitch was two-paced in the first six overs. But we recovered very well. 190 is a par score but we were beaten by the bowling and fielding. We didn’t execute, we were a little sloppy.” Fielding, if we had taken that catch…they would have attacked us, so they would have won,” he said.
