The Pakistani government will ban former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, the country’s Information Minister Atta Tarar said on Monday. dawn.

Tarar said the Shehbaz Sharif-led government plans to file a review petition in the Supreme Court of Pakistan against last week’s verdict that recognised the PTI’s status as a political party.
