ISLAMABAD: In a tragic incident, a 15-year-old boy in a fit of rage assaulted his mother and claimed the life of his father, whom he described as a “drug addict”, in Tiba Sultanpur, ARY News reported.
It was initially reported that the citizen had been shot dead by an “unidentified person,” but further investigation revealed that the unexpected culprit was the victim’s own son, Ali Hassan. The incident, which took place in a town between Multan and Vehari, shocked the local community.
After careful review of the CCTV footage, police quickly arrested Ali Hassan, who subsequently confessed to the crime. He told how his father, inebriated by her drinking, verbally and physically abused her mother, prompting her to take drastic action against Ali.
The murder weapon was recovered from Ali, and authorities began a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
The incident mirrors a similar incident on April 24, when another family was shattered by violence.
In Nankana Sahib, a barrister named Sajid was allegedly shot dead along with his younger brother by his own son Zain.
The confrontation occurred after lawyer Sajid retrieved the car from Zain, which led to a fatal altercation.
Law enforcement said the attack occurred as lawyer Sajid and his brother Waqas were returning from court. Zane intercepts them and shoots them, resulting in the tragic deaths of his father and uncle.
