Following the Pakistan national team’s disappointing exit from the group stage of the T20 World Cup, disgruntled fans and former Pakistan cricketers have heaped harsh criticism on the national team, with captain Babar Azam, wicketkeeper Mohammed Rizwan and other middle-order batsmen coming under heavy criticism for their individual performances.

Social media has become a battlefield for fans to vent their frustrations. Pakistan’s batting, fielding and pitching have all come under fire, with many fans particularly disappointed with their team’s lack of enthusiasm. Rizwan, who recently recorded the slowest fifty in a T20 World Cup, has been heavily criticised for his poor strike rate.

To add fuel to the fire, a parody video has gone viral mocking Rizwan’s slow batting, in which a man dressed as a wicketkeeper struggles to score runs during a match. Though intended as humor, the video reflects the deep disappointment fans have with Rizwan’s performance.

Watch the video here:

The Pakistan Cricket Board and team management are now faced with the challenge of addressing fans’ concerns and retooling their winning strategies for future tournaments. In this video, a man impersonating a wicketkeeper during a match highlights the team’s struggle to score runs. While the video is intended to be humorous, it reflects the deep disappointment fans have with Rizwan’s performance.

The Pakistan Cricket Board and team management will now be tasked with addressing fans’ concerns and coming up with a winning strategy for future tournaments.
