A young man kills his friend by eating a hamburger addressed to his girlfriend. The incident took place in Karachi, Pakistan.



Karachi: A strange and shocking incident occurred in neighboring Pakistan. As reported by ARY News, a man murdered his friend after he allegedly ate a hamburger he intended to give to his girlfriend. The incident took place on February 8 this year in Karachi’s Defense Phase 5 area. The conflict between the two friends began when the victim, Ali Chierio, the son of a trial judge, allegedly ate a burger belonging to Daniyal, the son of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Nazir Ahmed Mirbahar. .

Preliminary investigation revealed that the defendant had invited his girlfriend Shazia to his home and ordered two hamburgers for him and Shazia to enjoy. Ali allegedly ate part of the hamburger, sparking Daniyal’s anger and a dispute erupted.

The confrontation quickly escalated, and the suspect grabbed the guard’s rifle and fired at Keelio, seriously injuring him. Mr Keerio succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment at hospital.

After a thorough investigation, investigators concluded the investigation and submitted a report to senior management that held the police officer’s son responsible for the crime. The accused, Daniyal Nazir, is currently in custody and awaiting trial in court, ARY News reported.

Karachi has seen a notable increase in robbery-related deaths this year, with a total of 56 people injured and over 200 injured so far. By contrast, during the same period last year, 25 people were killed and 110 injured resisting robberies. In the whole of 2023, similar situations led to him killing 108 people and injuring 469 people, a number that was alarmingly high.
