A Pakistani store has released a video advertising weight loss equipment, sparking controversy on the Internet over the way the store owner is trying to sell the product.
The brand introduced the weight-loss massager on Instagram last month, and a viral video shows a man trying it out in front of an audience, enthusiastically speaking about the product and its benefits.
“If you don’t lose your stubborn belly fat within a month, give this massager back to me,” he says, issuing a challenge to potential users.
This machine is electrically powered and works with vibration motion, focusing on muscle relaxation and reducing excess fat in targeted areas.
The shop owner continued to demonstrate the different exercises that can be done with the machine, including movements using resistance bands attached to either side of the massage machine for shoulder training, and finally explained where one can buy this product and other details about his store in Peshawar, Pakistan.
The video has garnered over 21 million views (and counting), 480,000 likes, and 7,000 comments.

People who watched the video posted it in the Pakistani seller’s comment section, sharing their thoughts on the trending product and the store owner’s attention-grabbing promotional tactics.
Instagram user Raj Aryan commented: “Sorry but this never works. Calorie deficit is the only way to lose fat, there are no other shortcuts.”
Several others also ridiculed the promotional strategy.
“I lost 10kg after watching this,” joked another user, Momina.
“People are doing everything but exercise,” commented a third user, Peter.
Last year, Delhi-based apparel seller Jasmin Kaur became an internet sensation after a video of her saying “wow” while promoting a line of women’s clothing went viral. Since then, many people and celebrities have created videos based on her lines.
