President Asif Ali Zardari met with Dr Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organisation of Muslim Scholars, on Friday. The President lauded the League’s efforts in countering extremism and Islamophobia, and highlighted its growing collaboration with Pakistan in education, women’s empowerment, and humanitarian relief.
