The lawyers alleged in the July 18 lawsuit that the defendants “developed a personal relationship with Presley and gained her complete trust, enabling them to insulate her from her longtime business and financial advisors.” They also alleged that the defendants obtained “power of attorney, control of her family and personal trusts, and control of her bank accounts.” The documents say that Cruz and Fialko tried to “cast themselves as victims” in the initial lawsuit “after their scheme was exposed.”

Presley is seeking a jury trial and $1 million in damages and attorneys’ fees.
