Fort Pierre Livestock Auction will host its annual R-CALF USA Rollover Auction Calf Sale Fundraiser from noon to 1 p.m., Friday, June 7. Calves donated by longtime member supporters Dean and Delia Johnson of Fairburn, South Dakota, will be auctioned with all proceeds benefiting R-CALF USA.
A free beef barbecue lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and tickets will also be available for purchase in the annual raffle for an R-CALF USA saddle custom-made by Baxter Badure of Belvidere, South Dakota.
The rollover auction is a fundraising event held by R-CALF USA volunteers to raise money for the organization. Anyone who wants to support the work of R-CALF USA can bid on a calf, then donate it and have it auctioned off as many times as they like until bidding closes.
R-CALF USA stands apart from all other national cattle associations in that we rely solely on membership dues and donations to fulfill our mission of ensuring the continued profitability and independence of America’s cattle producers. R-CALF USA exists solely through the support of our members. R-CALF USA encourages cattle and sheep producers and others to get involved and make their collective voice heard. Any individual or business that receives support from the U.S. cattle or sheep industry can contact FPLA at (605) 223-2576 to pledge a donation to the rollover auction. The names of corporate or individual donors who cannot attend in person will be announced during the fundraiser. -RCALF-USA
