The gunman who tried to kill Donald Trump researched members of the royal family online days before attempting to assassinate the former president, FBI agents have said.
Suspect Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, shot and killed the former president at a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.
His electronic devices were subsequently seized and it was revealed that he had Googled several prominent people, including FBI Director Christopher Wray, in the lead up to the incident.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have ended a 64-year-old royal tradition by giving their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibeth, new surnames.
