Brands like Sandy Liang, Bottega Veneta, and Schiaparelli have sent butter yellow down the runways in recent months, establishing the sunny trend for spring and summer, and the popular pastel hue has been worn by stars like Aubrey Plaza and Emily Ratajkowski to high-profile events like the Emmy Awards and the King’s Trust Global Gala.
Carpenter has been on the festival circuit in recent months, performing alongside headliners Lana Del Rey and Doja Cat at the Coachella Valley Music and Performing Festival in April.
Carpenter will release her sixth album, “Short and Sweet,” on Aug. 23. The album includes the hit singles “Espresso” and “Please Please Please,” the former of which was performed on “Saturday Night Live” last month.
