Selena Gomez apparently gets style advice from her There’s been a lot of murders in the building. co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short. On May 29, while filming the Hulu series’ fourth season, Gomez emerged from the show’s set at Arconia Apartments on New York’s Upper West Side looking surprisingly nostalgic.

Gomez greeted fans in a colorful chevron-print outfit, which may have been a little garish, but Martin and Short’s characters, Charles and Oliver, are sure to love it.

Outside her apartment, Gomez wore a chevron-patterned skirt with sky blue and black wavy stripes. She paired the skirt with a simple black tank top and a baby blue knit jacket underneath.

She modernized the look with sheer black tights and red boots, which provided a bold contrast with the baby blue.

A chevron skirt might suit her perfectly. Murder only Gomez wears the pattern as her character Mabel, but she also wears the pattern in real life: Last December, she attended a Rare Beauty event in New York City in a relaxed chevron outfit.

She wore a black and grey chevron jacket and skirt set, topped off with a black turtleneck, and while the print was more subtle and exuded a quietly luxe vibe, there’s no denying that it was a throwback to the early 2010s.
