SI Swimsuits Miami Runway Red Carpet Trends: Sheer and Sparkle

Following the release of Sports Illustrated’s 60th Swimsuit Issue, the magazine held a fashion show during Miami Swim Week featuring Alix Earl, Lele Pons and Kamie Crawford.

Ahead of the runway presentation, fellow SI Swimsuit models Brooks Nader, Lauren Chan and Joy Corrigan walked the red carpet in see-through swimsuits with glittery embellishments, adding some sparkle to the barely there trend.

Brooks Nader

Nader opted for a black knitted halter maxi dress, which she accessorized with diamond jewelry including a tennis bracelet and stud earrings.

Joy Corrigan

Joy Corrigan wore a hot pink knit Asta Resort maxi dress embellished with sequins.

Lauren Chan

Lauren Chan chose a custom Mario Hug-knitted gown that featured a hand-beaded bikini overlay and a strapless neckline. The model accessorized with black mules.

Kristen Harper

Kristen Harper’s pale blue sequined Cult Naked mini dress featured a one-shoulder neckline and a slit skirt. The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue 2024 Rookie of the Year teamed it with a silver handbag, hoop earrings and metallic square-toed mules.

Jenna Sims

Jenna Sims wore a sequined Aya Muse open knit halter dress, paired with Alexis Bittar jewelry, black high-heeled sandals and a gold envelope clutch.
