Sienna Miller wears the clog trend for 2024

This summer has been blessed with some of the most alluring shoe trends we’ve ever seen, with brands suddenly inundated with elegant ballet flats, cool kitten heels, and chunky cage sandals that make previous seasons’ offerings seem drab in comparison. While we’re debating which Mary Jane trend to get on board with (I’m personally torn between bright reds and pretty velvet styles), Sienna Miller is stepping out in a controversial summer shoe trend that only fashion people seem to really understand.

Miller once again cemented her status as a fashion icon in a pair of chunky clogs from her favorite bohemian brand, Chloé. Wearing dark black clogs with full studs on a wooden sole and gold buckle detailing, Miller created a relaxed, bohemian look that would make any fashion editor jealous.

With their large wooden soles and curvaceous silhouettes, clogs are considered by many to be the original “ugly” shoe trend. Though they’ve peaked in popularity for decades, you rarely see anyone outside of editors and industry insiders wearing them. When you do, it’s usually a street style crowd that takes fashion seriously. Their outfits are incredibly current and timeless, and their bags are super attractive. Originally a casual shoe, Miller made the most of the clogs by pairing them with elegant clothing. She paired a predictable white dress with a pretty skirt in a rich black hue to create the base of her look.
