JACKSON, Wyo. — The government agency, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), has announced it will establish a Virtual Business Recovery Center to help Idaho and Wyoming businesses affected by the Teton Pass closure.

Businesses in Teton County, Wyoming, and Bonneville, Fremont, Madison and Teton Counties in Idaho can apply for the SBA’s Disaster Loan Program. The Virtual Business Recovery Center is a resource for these businesses, available to answer questions about the loan program and help with applications.

The SBA offers Economic Injury Disaster Loans of up to $2 million. Loan repayment and interest accrual begins 12 months after the first disbursement date. Interest rates are as low as 4% for businesses and 3.25% for nonprofits, and terms are up to 30 years, according to the SBA. The deadline to apply for a PATH-related Economic Injury Disaster Loan is April 14, 2025.

To contact the Center, please contact FOCWAssistance@sba.gov or (916) 735-1501 on business days from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. PDT. Applications and more information are available at SBA.gov/disaster.

The Idaho Small Business Advancement Center also stands ready to help businesses apply for relief and plan for the future following the pass crisis, according to the SBA.
