The annual SLIC Summit, held on August 22, discussed the organization’s efforts to improve access to health care, highlighting both its accomplishments and future goals.
The summit, inaugurated by Federal Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan, brought together healthcare leaders, policy makers and change makers. Mr. Khan recalled his time as Chief Minister of Balochistan when he launched the Balochistan Health Program and praised the monumental role of SLIC in promoting healthcare delivery across Pakistan.
He highlighted SLIC’s commitment to data-driven strategies that are critical to identifying health disparities and shaping both federal and state policy.
