Students in Rawalpindi to enjoy 9-day Eid holiday

Students in Rawalpindi are set to enjoy nine days of Eidul Fitr holidays, according to a notification issued by the Ministry of Education, Express News reported.

As per notification, the break will begin on March 29 and continue until April 5, covering both public and private schools across the city.

The notification confirms that no board exams for 9th grade will be held during the holiday period.

All educational institutions will remain closed for the full week of Eid, giving students an extended break to celebrate the festive occasion. Authorities have said normal academic activities will resume after April 5.

pertinent to mention here that the federal government has officially announced the public holidays on the occasion of Eidul Fitr, granting a three-day break.

According to a notification issued by the Cabinet Division on Wednesday, the holidays will commence from Monday, March 31, to Wednesday, April 2.

Offices and businesses will remain close from March 31 to April 2 and resuming from April 3.
