Sunita Kejriwal, AAP chairperson and wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, speaking at the ‘Bhadrav Sabha’ (national rally for change) in Haryana’s Yamuna Nagar on Saturday, argued that the situation in Haryana would change if the party came to power in the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections.

She promised that if elected, the party would provide free 24-hour electricity, quality education, health facilities, financial support to women and employment opportunities to the youth.

Sunita further criticised the current Haryana government for not being interested in developmental works. She asserted that people pay taxes for everything and have a right to expect the government to provide basic facilities like quality education, good healthcare, electricity, water etc.

AAP’s Haryana president Sushil Gupta alleged that corruption is rampant in the state and that the ruling BJP government is orchestrating various scams.

He slammed the government for not addressing issues like MSP to farmers, employment to the unemployed and health and education facilities in the state.

Earlier, the AAP had announced five guarantees for the state at a rally in Panchkula, including 24-hour free electricity supply, setting up of mohalla clinics on the model of Delhi and Punjab, free education in government schools with upgraded infrastructure, monthly payment of Rs 1,000 to women and employment opportunities for unemployed youth in the state.
