A new wave of support for former President Donald Trump has spread to the Republican National Convention.
Following Saturday’s assassination attempt, hundreds of attendees and delegates at the Republican National Convention at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee wore fake bandages over their right ears in tribute to President Trump.
Trump, 78, famously took to the stage on the first day of the party’s convention, making his first public appearance since the mass shooting at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Secret Service agents hurriedly escorted a bloody Trump off the stage as rally-goers ducked and crowded around him.
One attendee, former fire chief Corey Compartore, was shot and killed while defending his car. family.
During the convention, President Trump wore bandages over his ears, and others, including Uncle Sam, followed suit.

“I came here for the love of freedom and everyone has a talent. I want to use my talent to focus on truth and justice and take back our country,” Duane Schwingel, who calls himself Uncle Sam from America, told the US Sun.
Schwingel wore his own ear bandages that read, “Fight, fight, fight.”
“This is my show of solidarity,” he said, adding that he hoped other attendees would do the same.
“Start a conversation,” Schwingel said.
