The T20 World Cup 2024 match between Pakistan and USA to be played at Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas on June 6 faces possible cancellation due to flood warnings. Heavy rains could cause the match to be halted and the safety of players and spectators is the top priority. Pakistan will play their first match, while USA has already beaten Canada.

In the opening match T20 World Cup In 2024, Pakistan will face co-hosts USA on June 6 at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, who will be hoping to pull off an upset and extend their winning streak in this crucial match of the prestigious tournament. The Pakistani team was runners-up in the last T20 World Cup and is determined to win the title this year. However, they struggled in the recent T20I series against England, suffering a defeat.

Babar Azam and his team know the importance of this encounter but there is uncertainty over its progress after Tuesday’s game was abandoned due to rain disruptions which marred the recent encounter between England and Scotland.

A flood warning has been issued for Dallas until Wednesday morning local time (Wednesday night in India and Pakistan). The warning was issued due to heavy rainfall in a short period of time. If the heavy rain continues in Dallas, the game may be canceled.

The United States, the co-hosts of the T20 World Cup 2024, are currently on a winning streak in T20 matches. They beat Canada in their opening match of the tournament and prior to that, they won the three-match T20I series against Bangladesh 2-1.

After this match, Pakistan will face India in what is sure to be an exciting highlight of the tournament. The highly anticipated India vs Pakistan showdown in the 2024 T20 World Cup is scheduled to take place at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York on June 9.
