Four former Badgers will represent Team USA at the Summer Olympics

Four former members of the University of Wisconsin Badgers will compete in rowing at this summer’s Paris Olympics. The University of Wisconsin-Madison announced on social media Tuesday that Team USA has selected two former rowing team members to compete in the Summer Olympics. Lauren O’Connor is from Belleville and Grace Joyce is from Northfield, Illinois. Two other former University of Wisconsin-Madison rowers, Maddie Wanamaker of Neenah and Sophia Vitas of Franklin, were selected to the team in March. The Olympics begin on July 27th.

MADISON, WI —

Four former Wisconsin Badgers will compete in rowing at this summer’s Paris Olympics.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison announced on social media Tuesday that the U.S. team has selected two more former rowing team members to compete in the Summer Olympics. Lauren O’Connor is from Belleville and Grace Joyce is from Northfield, Illinois.

Two other former UW-Madison rowers, Maddie Wanamaker of Neenah and Sophia Vitas of Franklin, were selected to the team in March.

The Olympics begin on July 27th.
