LUBBOCK, Texas — Season tickets for the Texas Tech football team have sold out for the 2024-25 season, but the athletic department is selling single-game tickets throughout the season in hopes of filling the newly renovated AT&T Jones Stadium all season long.
Texas Tech Athletics Senior Associate Athletic Director Robert Giovanetti told EverythingLubbock.com that the upcoming football season is going to be great, especially after renovations are completed at Jones Stadium.
“There’s a new Big 12 and Texas Tech is going to be one of the premier programs in the new Big 12,” Giovannetti said. “What we all love about Texas Tech football will be on full display every Saturday and on the field. On the field, the horses will lead the team. It’s going to be the greatest stadium in the country and you’re going to want to come here and be a part of it.”
Red Razor fans have sold out 2024 season tickets for the upcoming football season, breaking last year’s early sell-out record, and with single game tickets being affordable, many who want to experience a Red Razor football day feel they can.
“Individual tickets will be available to purchase for any game, starting at $30,” Giovanetti said.
Giovanetti expects Jones Stadium’s 60,000 seats to be filled every game.
“I think Texas Tech fans understand that we’re building something here in West Texas, and I’m more optimistic overall than I’ve ever been about what’s going on in the Texas Tech athletic world,” Giovannetti said. “And it starts with the football team, and I think our fans are sensing that.”
Freshman football player Adam Hill said he can’t wait to play at Jones Stadium next season and hopes to deliver what fans expect from him.
“We have a brand. There’s only one thing. We live by it. Every day, every night. I mean, we all know it. And we’re here to prove it on the field. I think everybody in the stands will see that,” Hill said.
