Music Unlimited is not officially recommended in our best music streaming apps guide. The interface is not as clean and smartly curated as our top pick, Apple Music, and it can be a bit pushy in promoting podcasts you’re not interested in. That said, it’s hard to beat for free and has a huge music library that’s almost as big as its peers. And unlike Spotify, it supports lossless streaming, which is a nice bonus for audiophiles with high-quality wired headphones. If you’re just looking to save money on music streaming for a few months, this app should do the trick. But don’t forget to cancel your subscription after the free trial ends, as it’s set to auto-renew by default.

Amazon Prime members can get 3 months of Kindle Unlimited for free as part of a special Prime Day offer. This subscription gives you free access to a library of millions of books, comics, and magazines, including some audiobooks.
