Chicago (June 25, 2024) – The U.S. Men’s National Team has announced three friendlies as part of its fall domestic schedule in September and October, with all games broadcast by a wide range of television and radio networks.
In their first two post-Copa America matches, the U.S. will host Canada on September 7 for a fan appreciation night at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas, which will be broadcast live on TBS, Telemundo, Universo, Max, Peacock and Fútbol de Primera at 7 p.m. ET.
Three days later, USA will host New Zealand at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati (7 p.m. ET, TNT, Universo, truTV, Max, Peacock, Fútbol de Primera).
Next month, on October 12th, the U.S. Soccer Association will hold its Hispanic Heritage Night presented by AT&T, pitting the U.S. Men’s Soccer National Team against the Panama National Team at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas. Kickoff is scheduled for 9pm ET, and the match will be broadcast live on TNT, Telemundo, Universo, Max, Peacock and Fútbol de Primera.
Amazingly, all three of these venues have one thing in common: the USMNT has never lost at any of them.
The annual Fan Appreciation Game is a celebration of our fans, and the Kansas City game experience will feature fun, interactive fan activations, the chance to win prizes and more.

Pre-sale for these matches will begin at 10am local time on Wednesday, June 26th and will run until 8am local time on Friday, June 28th.

Confrontation with northern neighbour
This will be the first time the U.S. Men’s National Team faces Canada in a non-competitive match since winning 1-0 on Feb. 5, 2016 in Carson, California. The teams have met twice in CONCACAF competition in 2023, with the U.S. winning 2-0 in the Nations League Final in Las Vegas on June 18. After a dramatic 2-2 draw in extra time on July 9, the U.S. Men’s National Team took advantage of two penalty saves by Matt Turner to beat Canada 3-2 in a shootout in front of 24,979 fans at TQL Stadium.
Overall, the U.S. has won 17 games, lost 10 and drawn 13. Les Rouges.
Kansas City is confident
It has been 13 years since the USMNT first stepped onto the fields at Children’s Mercy Park, and no other venue has been more successful. Overall, USA has amassed an unbeaten record at the home of Sporting Kansas City with 8 wins, 0 losses and 2 draws, scoring an astounding 20 goals and conceding just 2. With their most recent scoreless draw against Uruguay on June 5, 2022, the USMNT extended their unbeaten home streak to 25 games, one shy of the team’s record of 26 games set from 2013-2015.
Return of the Kiwi
Five-time Oceania Football Confederation champions New Zealand are returning to the United States for the first time since 2016. The last time the two teams met was at the 1999 FIFA Confederations Cup in Guadalajara, Mexico, where the U.S. won 2-1. Most recently, the teams played to a 1-1 draw at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 10, 2016. Overall, the U.S. Men’s National Team holds an undefeated record with 2 wins, 0 losses and 1 draw.
Another Queen City
The USA returns to Cincinnati’s TQL Stadium, home of FC Cincinnati, for its fourth visit since the venue opened in spring 2021. TQL is the latest Dos a Cero In November 2021, they beat Mexico in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier, and in June 2022, they recorded a 3-0 victory in a friendly against fourth-placed Morocco in Qatar.
Overall, the U.S. has two wins, one loss and one draw in Cincinnati. The USMNT has a proud history in the tournament. Buckeye StateThe team’s record was 13 wins, 3 losses and 4 draws.
Give it a try Marea Roja
Panama is one of the USMNT’s most frequent opponents in the region, with the two teams meeting 27 times since 1993. The U.S. holds the advantage in all competitions with 17 wins, three losses and six draws. Marea Roja Their latest victory came when they beat the United States on penalties in the semifinals of the 2023 Gold Cup.
Undefeated in Austin
Rounding out the three fall friendlies venues is Q2 Stadium, where the USMNT have never lost or conceded a goal. The city has hosted matches for three different official competitions, including the Gold Cup, Nations League, and World Cup Qualifiers. The USMNT has a perfect record at Austin FC’s home stadium with 4 wins, 0 losses, and 0 draws, with all four wins being shutouts.
