SARANAC LAKE — All three Tri-Lakes varsity baseball teams will be competing for their division titles this week.

Lake Placid will look to defend its title in Game 7 against the Class D Bolton Eagles on Wednesday at the same venue. Both games are scheduled to kick off at 4:30 p.m.

The Tupper Lake baseball team will seek its second sectional championship in three seasons on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at Tom Fay Field at St. Lawrence University in Potsdam. The top-seeded Lumberjacks will face the winner of No. 3 St. Lawrence vs. No. 2 Brushton Moira in a Class C Section X matchup. The semifinal match was scheduled to be played on Monday.

Last Friday, the Red Storm defeated the Northeastern Clinton Cougars on the road, 7-4, to advance to the championship game.
