A tornado watch was lifted late Sunday night in New Hampshire after multiple storms had triggered several severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings during the day. A tornado watch was initially in effect statewide until 8 p.m. and extended to 10 p.m. for the southern two-thirds of the state, but was lifted after sundown as the tornado threat decreased. Early Sunday, one storm moved across southern New Hampshire from Keene to Portsmouth over a two-hour period. The storm triggered multiple tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings, including around Keene and later near Manchester, before dissipating over the ocean around 7:15 p.m. Other severe thunderstorm warnings were also issued for central and northern New Hampshire during the day.
