PARIS — Taylor Swift sang “The Alchemy” as part of a surprise acoustic set of songs at her Ellas tour show on Sunday, with boyfriend Travis Kelce in attendance. The song has several football metaphors, leading fans to believe that Swift wrote it about the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.
“Can you believe this is the 87th show?” Swift asked during her acoustic set at La Defense Arena. Kelsey is wearing number 87. She then played a mashup of “The Alchemy” and “Traitor” from “Red” on her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, on guitar.
While Kelce stood in the box, Swift looked up at him and the crowd looked back and forth between the two.
“This happens once in a few lifetimes,” Swift sang. “These chemicals hit me like white wine.”
The crowd roared.

Kelsea joined more than 40,000 fans on the fourth and final night of Taylor Swift’s Elas tour in Paris. He watched from a box seat alongside actor Bradley Cooper, supermodel Gigi Hadid and rock star Lenny Kravitz.
This concert will be Kelce’s fifth tour appearance since the couple went public last year. The first stop was Buenos Aires, Argentina, followed by Sydney, Australia, and Singapore where she spent two nights. Swift has changed the lyrics of “Karma” to “Chiefs guy” every time Kelsey cheers from the sideline.
Kelce hadn’t seen a new setlist live since Swift switched eras and added an 11th era, “The Tortured Poets Division.” The singer-songwriter has been working on the changes for eight to nine months (starting last fall), she said.
Hadid is famously a longtime member of Swift’s team, and has been dating Cooper for several months.

Other celebrities spotted in the crowd included Grey’s Anatomy actor Jessica Capshaw and singer Christina Milian.
As she continues the European leg of her tour, her next stop is Stockholm, Sweden.
