WASHINGTON (Duniya News) – US State Department Principal Deputy Spokesperson Vedant Patel said on Tuesday that the United States supports Pakistan’s efforts to combat terrorism.

Vedant Patel told reporters in Washington that the United States and Pakistan have common interests in combating threats to regional security.

Vedant Patel said he supports Pakistan’s efforts to fight terrorism and ensure the safety and security of its people in a way that promotes the rule of law and the protection of human rights.

He said the partnership with Pakistan on security issues includes high-level counterterrorism dialogue, funding strong counterterrorism capabilities, and supporting program building and a series of military-to-military engagements between the United States and Pakistan. He said that it would be possible.
