Saturday’s scheduled main event may have been canceled due to a little piglet, but that doesn’t mean UFC 303 still has a lot to offer fight fans.
With Conor McGregor’s broken pinky finger forcing the cancellation of the former two-time champion’s bout against Michael Chandler, UFC went into event-saving mode, and while the new headliner on Saturday’s card may not be as skilled as the sport’s biggest star, who returns to the Octagon after a nearly three-year absence, at least there’s a championship belt on the line.

UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira (10-2, 8 KOs) has agreed to a rematch against former champion Jiri Prochazka (30-4, 26 KOs) on Saturday (10 p.m. ET, ESPN+ PPV) at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, and the bout will go ahead as is. The two previously met inside the cage at UFC 295 in November, when Pereira won the vacant light heavyweight title by second-round TKO.
The co-main event will feature fan favorite Brian Ortega facing rising star Diego Lopez in a lightweight bout that was originally scheduled to take place at featherweight but was moved to 155 pounds at the last minute after Ortega was unable to drop down to 145 pounds.

1st round KO!
Talbot proved why he was a 16-1 favorite by scoring the knockout just a few seconds into the bout. Wow! He landed a massive right punch that sent Gemmori collapsing like a lawn chair.
As long as Peyton Talbot keeps winning, he will be UFC’s next big star, he will bring something completely different to the table and will generate a much wider base of supporters and haters. #UFC303
