With just one month until the 2024 Summer Olympics, it’s time for Team USA to decide which athletes will travel to Paris.
For the first time ever, the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts. This unique venue will allow hundreds of thousands of fans to watch the world’s best athletes compete for an Olympic berth throughout the nine-day event.
The biggest name in the trials will be expected multi-sport athlete Katie Ledecky. The 27-year-old has already won seven gold medals in her illustrious career and will be looking to add a few more to her collection in her fourth Olympic Games.
On the men’s side, Caleb Dressel will also be looking to add to his gold medal haul, having won five gold medals at the Tokyo Olympics, joining Matt Biondi, Michael Phelps and Mark Spitz as the only male swimmers to win at least five gold medals in one Olympic Games.
