Reba McIntyre and John Legend have reached the homestretch of “The Voice,” but the queen of country music finds herself in the winner’s circle.
On Tuesday night, Team Reba singer Asher Javon was crowned the winner of Season 25 during the two-hour finale of the NBC singing competition. Team legend Brian Olsen was recognized as second behind Javon’s teammate Josh Saunders.
Following her win on “The Voice,” an emotional Havon was joined onstage by McEntire, and the pair embraced under a waterfall of red and white confetti.
“Thank you for giving me a safe space to be my authentic self,” Javon told McIntyre shortly before his win. “Thank you for making me believe in myself and I promise to never let you down.”
Earlier in the night, Havon and McEntire took the stage together to perform an uplifting duet of Patti LaBelle and Michael McDonald’s “On My Own.”
