A viral video obtained by the USA TODAY Network shows a brave bear fighting two alligators while swimming in a Florida river.
Kayaker Tyler Futrell captured the violent fight between three river otters on the St. Johns River near Highbanks Marina, about 30 miles north of Orlando.
The waterway is the state’s longest river, flowing 310 miles from its source at Blue Cypress Lake in Indian River County to its mouth near Jacksonville in Duval County before emptying into the Atlantic Ocean.
Round 1: Bear vs Crocodile 1
The video begins with a bear and an alligator swimming face-to-face.
“Oh, here comes an alligator to say ‘hello,'” Futrell says as the nature show begins.
The two animals collide, the bear punches the alligator and the two violently slam into each other.
The bear quickly and seemingly effortlessly fights off the crocodile, roaring before continuing to swim away.
“I can’t believe I got it on video,” Futrell says in the video.

Round 2: Bear vs Crocodile No. 2
After that encounter, the bear swam closer to the riverbank, where a second alligator appeared to be lurking.
“Let’s go to round two. Let’s go to round two,” the kayaker can be heard saying as he records the video.
The bear then appears to lunge at the second alligator, fight it off, then swim out of sight.
