TMC’s Satabdi Roy was the winning candidate from Birbhum constituency in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The party secured 6,54,077 votes while BJP’s Dudh Kumar Mondal lost with 5,65,153 votes. The winning candidate had a difference of 88,924 votes.
