TikTok users have been sharing their thoughts on the “Awesome, give me 14” trend using original audio recordings of users reacting to pancakes made by their wives, creating a buzz.
TikTok user Vicky, also known as “60somethinglife,” frequently shares videos of the meals she cooks for her husband.
In one of her most viral videos, Vicky made pancakes for her husband using just two ingredients – sweet potatoes and eggs.
When she asked him what he thought, he smacked his lips with glee and said, “Amazing. Give me 14 more now.”
“Excellent, excellent… I’d like a 17 with a bottle of sauce please.”
The video has been viewed more than 33 million times since it was posted, and users even made her husband’s reaction into a viral trend with comments like, “Amazing, show me 14 times.”
To recreate the trend, TikTok users use audio of their husbands and lip-sync to add subjective comments like, “When there’s cannoli at the bakery.”
User “l3slie.03” recreated the trend of eating food with a fork using the popular audio, and added a POV video of “me eating food made by my friend’s mom.”
“Blakehealey1” posted a video recreating the trend, in which she and her partner are on a date at the park, and as he kisses her on the forehead, she hums, “Wow. Give me 14 right now.”
Roger and Talia, also known as “_thescottfamily,” went viral for their video embracing the trend, in which Talia combined kettle-cooked potato chips with lime juice and tajine.
After tasting one, she spoke the original audio herself, while her partner Roger looked on in confusion.
While the “Awesome, give me 14” trend continues to go viral, TikTok’s “boots and slicked back bun” trend is also garnering millions of views.
The trend sees users re-create original videos of their friends singing characteristic descriptions of them, such as “samba and little red bags.”
