All events at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will be broadcast live in the United States via the cable networks NBC or Peacock, which will broadcast every event of every sport live. The Paris events will be broadcast live every day from 4am to 6pm ET.
During primetime, starting at 8pm ET (2am Paris time), NBC’s flagship show, “Primetime in Paris,” will air live and focus on the biggest events of the day, bringing a storytelling lens and providing opportunities for more in-depth coverage. Mike Tirico will host the show from Paris’ famous Trocadero, with the Eiffel Tower as a backdrop.
The show typically begins with highlights from the U.S. team’s gold medal-winning performance, with the final hour of the show revolving around the most high-profile events of the night.
“Really, consumers can find whatever they’re looking for live during the day,” Molly Solomon, president and executive producer of NBC Olympics, told USA Today Sports in June, “and that’s the beauty of the European time zone.”
