With the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup set to begin in just a few days, Pakistan cricket team is the latest team to announce its squad for the tournament. The 2022 tournament runners-up will travel to the USA and West Indies under the leadership of Babar Azam.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the squad members on Friday, May 24, just a day before the deadline for submitting the team to the ICC. Due to the delayed announcement, fans are wondering who will be the vice-captain of the team as there has been no update on the matter from the PCB.

Pakistan had just announced Babar Azam as captain without a vice-captain, and cricket fans took to social media to express their concerns over the issue.
While chairman Mohsin Naqvi had already expressed dissatisfaction with the selection process and postponed the announcement, his yet to announce the team’s vice-captain comes as a shock.
