The University of Wisconsin football program missed out on the final three schools to sign 2025 defensive lineman Brad Fitzgibbon on Thursday.
The Chicago, Illinois native had his top three picks over Kansas, Iowa and Michigan State.

The Badgers offered Fitzgibbon in January when Greg Scruggs was the team’s defensive line coach, who is now EJ Whitlow after Scruggs left for Michigan.
Whatever the reason for the Badgers’ failure to qualify, the 6-foot-4, 280-pound lineman could have a shot at a Big Ten Conference contender.
The three-star recruit is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 853 player, No. 86 defensive lineman and No. 23 recruit out of the state of Illinois in the class of 2025. He has three official visits scheduled, one at each of his finalists: Michigan State on May 31, Kansas on June 7 and Iowa on June 21.
Meanwhile, the University of Wisconsin’s 2025 incoming class is currently ranked 16th in the nation with 13 prospects. The program started off a busy June with the enrollment of three-star cornerback Rukeem Stroud and four-star OT Logan Powell.
The group should continue to grow as official visit weekend continues.
