Wiz Khalifa was reportedly arrested in Romania over the weekend for consuming marijuana while performing at a music festival.
Khalifa (real name Cameron Tomaz) performed at the Beach Please festival in Romania on Saturday, and footage of the rapper’s performance shared on social media shows him smoking a cigarette onstage.
A press release from law enforcement later confirmed that an individual had been charged with “unlawful possession of high-risk drugs” after attending a music festival with marijuana.
“During his performance at a music festival in the Costinesti resort in Constanta county, he was found to be in possession of more than 18 grams of cannabis (a highly dangerous drug) and had taken a much larger amount in the form of a homemade cigarette (on stage),” the Organized Crime and Terrorism Investigation Department said in a statement.
