ASTANA, June 22 (Xinhua) — President of Xinhua News Agency Fu Hua met with Raushan Kazhibayeva, director of the Kazakh president’s TV and radio complex, here on Sunday.
During the meeting, the two sides signed a cooperation agreement.
Fu noted that the global information landscape is undergoing profound changes. He affirmed Xinhua’s readiness to work with the Kazakh president’s TV and radio complex to build consensus, strengthen mutual trust and mutually beneficial cooperation, enhance technology and personnel exchanges, and expand all-round communication and cooperation through platforms such as the China-Central Asia News Agency Forum and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Media and Think Tank Forum to contribute to building a China-Kazakhstan community with a shared future.
Kazhibayeva said the complex values its friendly partnership with Xinhua and hopes to deepen mutual support in areas such as information and personnel exchange as well as new media, adding that she hopes that the newly signed agreement will serve as an opportunity to elevate bilateral cooperation to a new level. ■
