T20 World Cup: With India all set to take on Pakistan in the ongoing T20 World Cup, cricket fever is at an all-time high. Team India kicked off the season with a match against Ireland which they won by eight wickets. In their debut match of the T20 World Cup 2024, Pakistan initially drew with the USA before the latter won by five runs in the super over. Ahead of the much-anticipated match between India and Pakistan, social media is abuzz with predictions, analysis and passionate declarations of support. Meanwhile, Zomato has taken to X to share a post that is sure to make people laugh. Referring to Pakistan’s loss to the USA, he criticised the cricket team ahead of their match against India.
“Pakistani brothers, if this is your performance then let me know if we should book your ad slot on Sunday,” Zomato posted, also adding the hashtag #PakvsUSA.

A truly global event, the T20 World Cup 2024 is being co-hosted by the West Indies and the United States. It will begin on June 1 and run until June 29. The tournament will begin with a match between Canada and the USA in Dallas and the grand finale is scheduled to be held in Barbados. A total of 20 teams from around the world will participate in this mega event.
The teams are divided into four groups. “Group A” includes India, Pakistan, Ireland, Canada and the United States. “Group B” includes England, Australia, Namibia, Scotland and Oman. “Group C” teams are New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda and Papua New Guinea. “Group D” teams are South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands and Nepal.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super 8 stage. The qualifiers will then be split into two groups of four teams each. The top two teams from these groups will advance to the semi-finals. The final will be played between the two qualifiers from each group.
