Zuckerberg’s summer wardrobe includes a $1,150 T-shirt

  • Mark Zuckerberg wore a $1,150 Balmain T-shirt while vacationing in Ibiza with his wife.
  • The Meta CEO has shifted away from his standard grey t-shirts and hoodies towards more stylish attire.
  • The internet is going wild over his more fashionable rebranding.

Mark Zuckerberg — CEO, chairman, and budding fashion icon?

The Facebook co-founder was recently spotted wearing a $1,150 Balmain T-shirt while vacationing in Ibiza, Spain with his wife, Priscilla Chan, People magazine reported.

Available to buy on Balmain’s website and at Saks Fifth Avenue, the cotton-and-wool short-sleeve crewneck features the brand’s name and logo prominently embossed on it, giving Zuckerberg the look of a true hypebeast. The shirt is loud, a departure from the drab, hard-to-find-logo luxury shirts Zuckerberg has worn in the past.

The knitted designer shirt is teamed with reflective sunglasses, dark blue shorts and even a touch of stubble.

The Meta CEO recently strayed from the typical tech uniform of the past decade, sporting a jacket over a sweatshirt and, most notably, a new gold chain.

“A backpack with a chain?? Can’t stop it,” one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

His fans aren’t the only ones taking notice of his casual and adventurous (for a tech boss, at that) style of dress: Instagram head Adam Mosseri recently told a podcast, “I love it. I think clothes are fun and I’m super supportive of them.”

Though Zuckerberg is stepping out in more fashionable clothing, his fresh style also doubles as a calm rebranding away from his often meme-worthy robotic demeanor. A stylist previously told Business Insider that the change could be part of a strategy to “make him more approachable and show he’s fun.”

And it seems to be working.

“Zuckerberg’s personal stylist and PR team are doing an amazing job,” another person wrote on X, after showcasing a variety of pieces ranging from a dragonfly-embellished suit to a gold tiger-print shirt.
