Former temple guard Heijer Miller has announced that he will be transferring to Virginia Tech. his social media Wednesday night.

Miller is a Philadelphia native who played high school at Neumann-Goretti and spent the past three seasons with the Owls. He started just eight games as a freshman, but has become one of the most important parts of the Owls’ lineup, starting 68 games over the past two seasons.

He was the Owls’ leading scorer last season after former guards Kalife Battle and Damien Dunn transferred from the program, averaging a team-high 15.9 points and four assists.

Miller entered the transfer portal after the 2022-23 season, but chose to return to Temple once the Owls hired head coach Adam Fisher in April 2023.
