Social media users frustrated by X’s new ‘Look Between’ keyboard trend

Lately, there’s been a lot of talk on social media about the tendency of people to “look” between certain keys on the keyboard.

This new fad, which intrigues and frustrates some users, is spreading across platforms such as: X.

Many of these posts share similar themes. So it starts with an unlikely detail, then tells you to look between the H and L keys and spells out “JK” (short for “joke”).

Some of these posts are very confusing and tell you to “look between x and y on your keyboard,” but there are so many keys in between that it’s hard to understand what the message means. It’s difficult to understand.

Some users get creative while others get frustrated easily.

Look between Q and E on your keyboard. That’s all I have planned for this year, trust me.

The reason jokes about “take your time” have to go viral and die quickly is because it takes too much effort.

Look between this, look between that, everyone, look between my index and ring fingers.

— Adam (@aladdenne) April 24, 2024

Of all the lame trends Twitter has spawned, this “xyz look” is by far the lameest, most disgusting, and stupidest.

Please shut up and look at the keyboard

— Jake Paul (@jakepaul) April 23, 2024

I open the Twitter app and watch people here talk and stare at their keyboards.

Please stop. I don’t want to look for characters between characters.
