Temperatures expected to rise in Pasadena, with highs likely to reach 99° over the weekend – Pasadena Now

Los Angeles County is expected to continue its upward trend over the next few days, reaching above-normal temperatures by the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

“Temperatures today will generally be within a few degrees above normal,” a statement from the National Weather Service said.[But] Temperatures are expected to rise from Wednesday through Friday or Saturday, with above-normal temperatures expected to continue into next week.”

As the heat increases, humidity is also likely to increase as monsoon moisture makes its way into the region.

As the week progresses, inland areas can expect more clear skies and a steady rise in temperatures.

The weather service warned that the heat would continue from Thursday or Friday until at least Tuesday next week, and possibly beyond.

Below is the latest forecast for Pasadena from the National Weather Service as of 4:03 a.m. Tuesday.

today: Mostly sunny, with a high around 88. Light south-southeast wind becoming south-southwest 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

tonight: Mostly sunny, with a low around 58. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming lighter and shifting in the evening.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high around 90. Light south-southeast wind becoming south-southwest 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

Wednesday night: Mostly sunny, with a low around 59. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming lighter and shifting in the evening.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high around 92. Calm, with a south southwest wind around 5 mph increasing in the afternoon.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy with a low around 63 degrees.

Friday: It will be mostly sunny and hot with a high near 96 degrees.

Friday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 64 degrees.

Saturday: It will be sunny and hot with a high near 99 degrees.

Saturday Night: Mostly sunny, with a low around 66 degrees.

Sunday: It will be sunny and hot with a high near 99 degrees.

Sunday Night: Mostly sunny, with a low around 66 degrees.

Monday: It will be sunny and hot with a high near 98 degrees.
