A stream of stars, referred to as a "river of stars", has been discovered flowing through the Milky Way. This stream, which may have been in existence for a significant amount of time, was previously unnoticed despite being in plain sight. The discovery of this stream of stars may provide insight into the galaxy's history and potentially its dark matter.
