A massive galactic eruption has been detected, with some reports describing it as equivalent to 10 quintillion hydrogen bombs every second. The eruption is associated with a galaxy's supermassive black hole, which is driving a vast stream of super-heated gas into space. The event is being studied using the James Webb telescope, which has also revealed extraordinary organic molecules in the affected galaxy.
