Research has been conducted on the use of dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) in patients at high bleeding risk undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with various types of stents. Studies have explored the effectiveness of shortened DAPT durations, such as 30-day DAPT, in these patients. The FDA has cleared a stent for one month DAPT in high risk bleeding patients, and various clinical trials have reported results on the use of different stents and antiplatelet therapies in this patient population.
