A terrorist attack on a police post or checkpoint in southwestern Pakistan's Balochistan province has resulted in the deaths of 9 police officers. Some reports suggest that militants were also killed in the attack, but the number is not consistently reported. The attack has been condemned by at least one foreign government, Iran.
